Hand ReflexologyDescription:Most people associate reflexology with the feet but hand reflexology has certain advantages. For example, it can be used in situations where there is neither the space, time or privacy to work on the feet. It can also be used with people who have ticklish feet, verrucas or other infectious foot conditions or are sensitive about having their feet touched or are in an emotional state. Some clients are not able to benefit from reflexology on the foot, such as amputees or those with contraindications such as thrombosis of the leg. As hand reflexology is unobtrusive, you can treat yourself in public situations, for example on an aeroplane to ward off travel sickness. Hand Reflexology gives you the means to check ff a problem found with a foot reflex is an injury or a reflex out of balance. Good to use as homework for client or self-treatment. Hand Reflexology can be used in conjunction with Foot Reflexology for added effectiveness in conditions that are chronic and acute and need special attention. Where space and comfort permit, you can actually stimulate a reflex on the hand and foot of your client at the same time. You will be joining the day 8 of the Main Reflexology course Course Dates: Sun 4th Mar 2012 Sat 5th May 2012 Sat 30th June 2012 Course Fee: £105 A certificate will be awarded. This is worth 7 CPD points
